When you enter the home from the ground floor, you are greeted by a tastefully-appointed foyer, and beyond that, a dart board, with a Twin bunk bed tucked around the corner. The second and main story of the home features a large kitchen, living room with flat screen TV, and sun-room all facing the water, and a beautifully finished dining room. This home has recently been renovated and designed and features professionally curated paint, flooring, decor, and furniture. The third level of the home features three bedrooms, and two full baths. The master bedroom features a King bed, flat screen TV, en suite, and private balcony. The second full bath is located off the hallway, and the second bedroom features a Queen, and the third bedroom on this level features a double size bunk bed. The fourth story of the home features two Twin beds placed together, forming a long day bed, each with a pull-out Twin trundle underneath, making it four Twin beds total for this floor. This room features extra seating, a TV, and a balcony. The outside of the home features a large stone patio, outdoor shower, outdoor dining set and seating, waterfront deck, and an expansive wrap around porch. Our week long stay at Island View was wonderful! The home was beautiful and well equipped with anything you could possibly need! The views were outstanding and this was probably one of the CLEANEST homes we have ever rented for vacation. The neighborhood was lovely - saw deer almost every evening! This was our first time to the area so had no idea what to expect. There isn't much around the area of the house - - if you want activities - - you need to drive over to the island. But it's a beautiful area if you have a boat or just want to relax! One thing to note that is not listed in the house description - - - we had 2 elderly parents with us (85-90 years old).....the steps in the house are VERY steep. We opted to take them up the back deck steps most of the time. Overall a WONDERFUL home - - don't hesitate to rent this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The views were stunning. The outdoor furniture was comfortable as well. We would love to come back again!

We had a great time staying at Island View we ate at Don's Restaurant on the Island which was great. Then we found Maria's we had one of the best pizzas that I ever had. Went kayaking and got to see the wild horses in the National Park. went to the beach.
The only recommendation is to have a list of places to go and grocery store that is close by. We have to find things on our own.

Loved all the windows that gave great natural sunlight and a great view. We did some fishing from the dock loved watching the boats come and go.

Very clean, everything was as stated. One thing that should be noted is the stairs. The inside stairs from the ground floor to second are very narrow & steep. The inside stairs into the loft area are only 2 feet wide without a railing & again very steep. But the house has a wonderful view and overall a very nice rental.

Great trip! Really a wonderful house with high end features. Perfectly appointed on the bay. We especially appreciated the pool facilities and the kids had a great time on the pier crabbing. A good Covid 19 lockdown option from Washington DC.
We will recommend...
As a landlord, there are a few things to look out for for future maintenance -
- internet is really slow. We raised this at start of trip but no follow up.
- the toilet in master bathroom runs continuously if you dont flush a certain way. May run up water bills, if you have them
- the swinging chair in the living room is slightly damaged on right hand side corner, exposing a sharp area that could hurt a child if they run closely!!!!
- suggest to leave a manual fan in attic , it can get hot!
The Island View home is very nice. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and entertaining items. House was a great size for our family of 6 adults and 2 infants. We traveled with a lot of stuff, was nice having the downstairs as our drop off area, for strollers and such. Dinner at the Marina was good, would recommend. Having access to the pool was nice, used both the indoor and outdoor. It would be nice to have step down onto beach. We did some crabbing with chicken necks and string, but it would have been better if you had a crab cage available. Bedroom with the queen bed was a little warm at night. We wish you would have high chair available for families traveling with young ones. Overall, a great family time.
