My Island Escape

My Island Escape is a hidden gem on the North Side of Chincoteague Island that combines all the best features of a stay on the Island. Quick and easy access to Historic Downtown/Main Street and Maddox Blvd., incredible water views of the Chincoteague Bay sunsets, while simultaneously a secluded property away from the hussle, bussle, and noise of Maddox/Main when you want to relax for the evening. The house was immaculate upon arrival, with a nice large kitchen kitchen with everything you could ever need just off a large, cozy living room. Big bedrooms, including a large master with private master bathroom and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The outdoor shower was perfect for spraying off after a day at the beach and the deck on the front provided a perfect view of the sunsets. I can't believe more people haven't discovered this incredible property tucked away on the bayside of the Island (our favorite side)! You will not be disappointed with your stay here!

We arrived at "My Island Escape" on a Wednesday for our stay. We had been in another rental that, due to storms and 5" of rain overnight, was flooded and was not habitable. CRR were responsive in finding us another location to rent for the rest of our stay (although moving in-to and out of- two rentals took away from our vacation time, we were very appreciative and it saved our vacation!) My Island Escape was wonderful and we were very happy with the home. It had good AC, decent beds, a comfortable living area, working-washer and dryer, (a real necessity when on a BEACH vacation)outdoor rinse-shower, and stunning sunset views. Thank you CRR. I do not mention the other rental name however it should not be rented again until many things are addressed to make it safe and livable.

The property was clean and welcoming. All appliances were in good working order. The owners were on the adjoining property and they made us feel very comfortable. Our week was an enjoyable and peaceful.

We had a lovely stay on the Island for Pony Penning Week. The hosts were very responsive and replaced our coffee maker right away when it didn't work.

The house was perfect. We enjoyed staying there.

The 3 bedroom house is comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen is well appointed and appreciated. Very convenient to have 2 1/2 baths although the central one needed a more thorough cleaning. Enjoyed time on the deck and the wonderful views of the bay and flower gardens. This is our 5th stay— we will be back!

Scenic site, pleasant house, quiet area with water views combine for fulfilling week of R&R.

We have been coming to the island for 3 yrs and this place has been our favorite. I have 2 teenage boys and the shared dock was perfect we would go out in the mornings and evenings just to enjoy the view and actually had it all to ourselves. The place was spotless and was comfortable along with tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had the pleasure of talking with the owners and they were very helpful and informative. We would 100% book this lovely home again. The o ly thing I would suggest or like to have would be a screened in porch as the mosquitoes are terrible. Other than than it was a great experience

My Island Escape is rightfully named! What a pleasurable experience...the sunsets were amazing. The home lovely and clean with all the amenities for a relaxing vacation.

This is so nice and quiet! We had beautiful July 4th, with friends and family. Nice location with the deck going into the bay where you can enjoy refreshing breeze. New house with all amenities you need for relaxation and escape from the city rush. We definitely would like to come again!
