Poole's Cove is one of the best houses on Chincoteague, with an artfully decorated wing with master bedroom and great room, a separate wing with two bedrooms and baths, and a connecting screened-in porch with great view of the Bay, and an upstairs deck and office. Perfect for grandparents with visiting adult children and grandchildren.

We love this house--staying for the third time. The water is so close you hear the lapping of the waves and fish jumping. The design that divides the main house and master bedroom from the "guest wing" allows for privacy and quiet sleeping. The screened porch is large and the upper deck great for sunsets. And the office/crows nest up there is a favorite. Beautiful paintings and art work attest to the special taste of the owners. Marshy land on either side give space from neighbor houses. Yet it is convenient to town and the beach.

This house sits on the Chincoteague Bay and you could spend the entire day sitting on the screened porch watching the sea birds.

We have been annual Pooles Cove visiters. We started with 2 weeks and now stay 3 weeks and have enjoyed every stay. Our favorite this is the bay view and the closeness to the water. Every day is different and sunsets are spectacular. The layout of the house is perfect when out family is with us and when they go home we just use the south wing. The upstairs "office" and deck is great too. Highly recommend Pooles Cove.
As always, staying at Poole's cove is a pleasure. The house is well taken care of and very well appointed. The "new" upgrades are beautiful. Only issue are the bushes by the driveway. They need to be trimmed on the road side because the severely interfere with exiting the driveway and seeing oncoming cars from either direction. No worries, we'll be back again.
